Edmonton Plumbers—Tips for an Environmentally Friendly Plumbing System

The Alliance for Water Efficiency (AWE) with funding from the Royal Bank of Canada’s (RBC) Blue Water Project, launched a nationwide water sustainability training and accreditation program for plumbers. Thanks to the training, around 44,280 licensed plumbers in Canada are now given a chance to advance water conservation and environmental awareness throughout the country.

Trusted Edmonton plumbers fully support AWE’s training initiative. Now more than ever, everyone needs to take steps toward sustainability and eco-friendliness, plumbers included. As a homeowner, there are several ways for you to transform your old-fashioned plumbing system into green plumbing.

  1. I agree Greg, it's important for plumbers to move toward eco-friendly practices. I'm assuming copper pipes would be considered eco-friendly. I would love to replace my old galvanized pipes with copper pipes. I worry about rust.
